Wednesday 09/21 - Friday 09/23:
Manchester, NH And Yorkville, IL
Sue and I had a wonderful 5 day visit out to see Chuck and Denise in Illinois from Wednesday 09/21 through 09/27.
Because our flight was at 5:40 am Thursday morning, we had dinner and spent the night in Manchester Wednesday. Saturday, they drove us into Chicago for a helicopter ride over the shoreline, lunch at the outdoor rooftop patio of the London House, and then a wonderful dinner at Za Za Trattoria, in St. Charles, IL.
Sunday we headed north for an overnight to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where we stayed in the Jane Austin room at the Maxwell Mansion, a small boutique hotel. Monday we drove back down to Chicago for dinner at the Cooper's Hawk Winery in Arlington Heights, IL, and then they dropped us at our hotel by the airport in Chicago for our 6:30 am flight out Tuesday morning.

We missed seeing Denise on Chuck's last visit out to New Hampshire.
Late afternoon Thursday, and I'm all set now with a good glass of wine. This was actually the second bottle that we opened because the first one was immediately voted down as a total disappointment.
It was getting a little chilly and windy outside, so we moved inside. Denise had fixed a great crockpot dinner for us, and after a movie that left just Chuck and me watching: bed!
Sue up early and all bundled up with her coffee out on the patio on a very chilly Friday morning.
