Friday morning Chuck pulling the car out of the driveway at the start of our overnight trip to The Eagle Mountain House in Jackson, NH.

View from the wrap around veranda at The Eagle Mountain House.
I'm all set. Next up is a glass of wine.
Chuck created this comparison photo of us at approximately the same 50/55 age.
Sue sent us this selfie of her and Denise as a ruse to cover up all of the surprise party prep work going on Friday night making it look like all they were doing was relaxing on the porch after waling Beau, or something.
Ahhhh.... Dinner at The Eagle Mountain House was spectacular!
After dinner, Chuck and I took our drinks out onto the wrap around veranda, and just sat there and chatted for a couple of hours.
Saturday morning and I'm up before Chuck and onto the veranda with feet propped up on the rail and coffee at the ready.
When we left the hotel late Saturday morning, Chuck said he'd like to check out some things along the drive home, and maybe stop for awhile in Wolfeboro. This was all done with ulterior motives as Chuck was acting under directions from Sue through texting as to when all of the party preparations would be done and all the guests would be there.
And while he was driving us around the long way toward home, action was fast paced back at the house.
Graham and Raven arrive from where they were staying at a local bed and breakfast inn just up the road from us.
Sheina (who with husband Carl had flown in from Albuquerque, NM), Denise, and my nephew Scott who had driven up from Frederick, MD all busy at work on some of the decorations for the party.
A quick break as Colin had just arrived bringing the truck full of tent equipment.
It was a bigggggg tent....
Sues daughter Jill who had driven up from Westerly, RI working on a project with our friend Gail who had come over from the Nashua area.
