10/21/22: Sues BDay Celebration

All Sue wanted to do for her birthday was to have a relaxing day by having a nice lunch out, a visit to see Rezleigh, and then home for a quiet night by the wood stove with a movie.

So, I took her to Anatolia Mediterranean Restaurant in Somersworth, NH. We've been there before, but for dinner. We had just the best meal for lunch we could have imagined. Their food is so good. After lunch, we drove over to Colin and Swayzie's to see Rezleigh for a short visit.

Sue's birthday peach martini to go with the marvelous Tunisian Kibbeh (spiced ground beef, onions, walnuts and bulgur wheat served with homemade garlic yogurt sauce) she had for lunch.

I had a nice glass of Woodbidge Pinot Noir with a really nicely seasoned Tunisian shrimp sautee.

Rezleigh just kept her eyes closed the whole time we were there. She's finally starting to transition from sleeping during the day and frothing loudly all night long to better hours. But today: she just had her eyes closed no matter how much I tried to agitate her.

She appears to be much more relaxed in the arms of Gramma Sue though.

Starting to get a little pissy, and wiggling around. Must be getting on toward feeding time, and so we headed out for home.

When we got home, I lit a fire in the wood stove, Sue made herself a version of the Bumbu Rum Martini she had at the Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, WI on our recent trip to visit Chuck and Denise.
