Gail came for an overnight visit Saturday 07/20/24 so that she and Sue could drive up to Castle In The Clouds in Moultonborough, NH for a class in smart phone photography.

Sue actually had to drive over to Londonderry, NH to pick Gail up. She had fallen at work and broken her hand a few weeks before, and didn't want to drive too far because of that.

It was just a fun idea they had to take the class, and were really looking forward to it. Gail had never been to Castle In The Clouds before, and was totally blown away with it.

I, on the other hand, stayed behind to watch The Beau Dog and readied myself to make a pizza run after they got back to the house.

When they arrived, I poured out wine for us, and we sat out on the porch chatting and enjoying the late afternoon.

After dinner, we watched the neat 1975 Robert Redford thriller: 3 Days Of The Condor, which Gail hadn't seen and enjoyed.

Then, Sunday after breakfast, we took Beau with us and drove Gail back to Londonderry. I hadn't seen her new apartment before, and saw why she liked it so much; just a really nice place and perfect for her. She's still picking away at getting things set up, but it's her style for sure.

We had brought the leftover pizza with us, and had that as an early dinner before heading back home.

Castle In The Clouds

It's just after 4, the girls have returned from Castle In The Clouds, and here's the wine ready to go - a 19 Crimes cab.

Pizza out on the porch; doesn't get much better than that!

Gail opted to just hang out while Sue and I hopped into the car with Beau to catch sunset on the ridge.
