Sue and I drove down to her friend Jen's house Monday 04/08/24 to watch the unfolding of the total eclipse over the mountains in the distance.
Without a professional cameras, lens, and filters this was all you get with a cell phone; but it was great fun!
The full effect of the eclipse wouldn't happen until about 2:30pm, and so Sue and I hopped in the car for a drive up to Wolfeboro. Sue got this neat picture walking down from North Main toward the town docks.
Even in early April, the snow was still stacked up in the public park by the lake.
Back home and then down to Jen's to watch the start of the eclipse from her back porch overlooking the mountains on the other side of the valley.
