Saturday morning 09/23/23 Sue and I volunteered to help Rochester, NH chapter of SHP (Sleep In Heavenly Peace) build beds for kids in need.

Sue had found out about SHP, and when she told me she was going to sign up to help, I did as well.

It was a beautiful late September day, and sun would eventually cause us to take our sweatshirts off as we worked the staining tubs for the bed rails.

Our line started out fairly calm, but toward the end of the 2 hour shift we got so busy that we had to keep up with it for about 15 minutes longer while most of the other volunteers ate the pizza SHP had delivered to the site.

As a group, we were able to build 29 beds for kids in need; well worth a couple of hours of time.
