Sue and I grabbed up Mia Saturday morning 08/12/23 to take her to a Native American Pow Wow at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth, NH.
It turned out to be a beautiful day, enabling us to also tour some of the historic houses that make up the Strawbery Banke attraction. After spending a couple of hours there, we took Mia for an early dinner at a local 99 Restaurant.
But Friday the 11th we had our friends Steve and Cathy over for dinner as we hadn't seen them in quite awhile. As soon as it got dark out, Sue took Cathy out onto the deck to look up into the sky to see the predicted local meteor showers. Beau had guard duty, and had strategically positioned himself by Sues raised bed vegetable gardens.

A long shot of the festival grounds, and tents set up for the pow wow.

The Circle Dance continued throughout the festival, though the theme of the dance itself changed periodically.
