Sue and I took Mia to see Peter Pan at the Palace Theater in Manchester Wednesday 07/26/23, and we just had the best time with her.
Before picking her up, Sue and I took Beau for a hike up Little Blue Job. We left early right after a small breakfast as it was going to be a really hot day.
Sue wanted to see if there were any wild blueberries, but none were seen. None! Well.... she found 3 little berries....
We told Marissa that we'd pick Mia up at day camp at the pool. Mia wanted us to come early so she could show us how she jumps off of the high dive. Couldn't miss that!
Then it was off to an early dinner at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester, only about 7 minutes from the theater.
The play was nothing short of spectacular! We just couldn't believe what a great production it was. And the theater was packed with young kids just yelling and screaming because the actors were just so good at captivating them. Wonderful time, but late getting her back home.
Me and The Beau Dog at the top of Little Blue Job mountain.
Sue taking advantage of the wonderful weather by running through some opening moves of a "Tai Chi Easy" form from her studies with our friend Nancy Little.
Though there was a nice breeze blowing across the top of the mountain, it was still really hot out, so Beau found a cool spot between some boulders.
Here's a series of pictures of Mia flying off the high dive board into space.
What a colorful pre show stage backdrop at the Palace Theater.
Mia met a friend, and was showing her the wrist bracelets she had made at camp. She even gave one to her as a gift.
Some pictures after the show from the top deck of the parking garage. Sue had wanted to park up there so she could show Mia the view.
