Saturday 07/08/23 Mia helped Sue as her photographer's assistant for a photo shoot Sue was doing for friends out at Hamilton House in South Berwick, ME.

Sue had gone down and picked Mia up after camp Friday afternoon so that they'd be all set to take off for the shoot Saturday morning.

Sue had rain backup plans, but the morning showed that there was little chance of rain until 3:00pm, so off they went a little after 8:00 am. I was put in charge of walking Beau, and we headed out just after them.

Though their shoot went really well, and Mia had a great time, The Beau Dog and I ran into a fat, lumbering porcupine coming up the trail toward us. I strapped the leash on Beau before he figured out what was going on, cutting our walk short.

After the photographers got back late morning from their shoot, Sue wanted to take Beau for a longer walk, and maybe to a river where he could cool himself off because it had turned very hot and humid. I went along switching roles as the photographer this time.

The girls, as you can see from the pictures, frolicked in the water, as did The Beau Dog.
