We were so happy that Chuck was able to come out for a short weekend visit 06/09/23.

He had been anxious to see how his sister Marissa was doing with her pregnancy, celebrate her birthday, and then to meet his new niece brother Colin and Swayzie's now 7 month old Rezleigh. He had a great time, and Sue and I even got to visit with him quite a bit.

He flew into Boston, MA late Thursday night, and drove to Marissa's. Since they were all off to work early, after Chuck got up he drove over to spend the day with us.

He met up with Marissa, Gary, and Mia Friday night, and they all went out to dinner to celebrate Marissa's birthday.

We all met up Saturday morning over at the South Berwick, ME rec fields to watch Mia's final Lacrosse game of the season.

After the game, I jumped in Chuck's car, and we met Sue over at Hamilton House in South Berwick, which Chuck LOVED. It's such a beautiful old ship captain's home, perched majestically on a hill overlooking the Salmon Falls River.

Sue showed chuck around all of the really lovely flower gardens to wander through. While Sue continued on from there to met up with friends, we went back to the house where Chuck and I had a nice day to catch up. We went out for an early dinner to Anatolia's Mediterranean restaurant in Somersworh, NH where Mehmet took great care of us. And what a great meal!. After dinner we came back to the house where Sue had a great desert ready that we all had while watching a movie.

Chuck spent Sunday morning with Colin, Swayzie, and his new niece Rezleigh. They decided that they'd drive up to Alton Bay and have lunch at Shibley's At The Pier. After lunch, Chuck headed up to spend the day with us, have dinner, and then relax with a movie.

He left for the airport Monday morning from Marissa's. Short trip, but so great that he was able to come out. But we missed seeing Denise. We thank her for sharing Chuck with us for those few days.
