Because the weather was so nice and inviting, on Monday 05/22/23 I took Sue out for a casual dinner and a beach exploration adventure down to Hampton, NH.
Before heading to the beach, we stopped off to eat at the The 401 Tavern in Hampton. What a really neat place! Very rustic and cozy, with very good food. A nice atmosphere to start our adventure with!
Sue on the beach; on the hunt!
Sue loves digging around looking for heart shaped rocks.
Anytime we're in the area we like to stop at Rye Harbor, and the park that forms the northern boundary of the harbor.
In the far distance, you can see the setting sun's light illuminating the hotel on Star Island 7 miles off the coast out at the Isles of Shoals.
I couldn't figure out what Sue was so enamored with until I saw the next picture that she was taking at the time.
Sue can ferret out the beauty in the most strange places, and of the most strange things....
Heading for home chasing the sunset along Route 16/Spaulding.
We got to the top of the ridge, and Sue jumped out of the car to get this final picture of the sunset as well as the Venus and moon alignment.
