Saturday 03/25/23 Sue and I took Mia up to Meredith, NH to see Charlotte's Web and have dinner.
Sue had seen that Charlotte's Web was being performed at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse 03/26/23 and had gotten tickets for us to take Mia there. After the play, we went to the Innisfree Bookshop where we got a book that Mia wanted, and then we all went to dinner at The Camp restaurant across from the top of Lake Winnipesaukee.
I picked Mia up earlier in the day Saturday, and before heading off she helped me haul some logs in from the woodpile so we could have a nice fire later in the wood stove as it was not only getting cold, but projected to snow a little.
Mia helping bring some logs in for a fire later.
The Winnipesaukee Playhouse
When we got out of the play it had been snowing for awhile as there was about a half inch of wet snow on the car.
By the falls on the walk over to the bookstore.
The Camp was such a neat place, and the food was terrific!
Sunday morning and the girls are fixing up pancakes for breakfast.
We had bought Mia a binder and paper for her to create a nature exploration book, and so I was showing her how to do some research on some moss and trees that Sue had pointed out to her when they had taken Beau out for a walk through the woods after breakfast.
But after that Mia and Sue went out into the back yard with the sleds and snow boards as the snow from the night before had filled in a lot of patches in the backyard. They had just the best time, as you can see from these pictures!
Time for Mia to rip the hill up on her snow board!
Gramma Sue even got her skies out for a couple of runs!
