We had a really great time with Marissa, Gary, and Mia bringing in the New Year.

Marissa invited us to go with her, Gary, and Mia again this year to the Winter Wonders at the Sandy Hill Farm in Eliot, ME. They have so much expanded 'Winter Wonders' from our visit last year on New Year's Eve 2021.

Though chilly, it wasn't as cold as it was last year. But that wouldn't have mattered anyway because we just had the best time with them walking the winding paths through the woods and seeing all of the terrific light display exhibits. It sprinkled wet sleet lightly for most of the time we were there except right at the end where we were all glad that we had rain gear on.

After completing the walk through, Mia wanted a hot donut, and so we all got one and gobbled it down before heading back in a very dense fog to their house in Dover, NH. It wasn't long before the ordered Chinese food extravaganza arrived.

We had actually just started the new 2022 Tom Cruise movie spectacular 'Top Gun Maverick'. We put that on short pause, filled up our plates, and had a picnic in the living room with the sound turned up Mock 10!

To start off New Year's Day, I went with Sue to walk Beau along the Mad River near us.
