Just for the fun of it, Sue and I decided to have a little mini vacation with a North Conway overnight!

Sue was up and out early Wednesday morning to get this 5:47 am sunrise over the ridge. After a quick breakfast, and dropping Beau off at the kennel, we were off!

I had to pry Sue from out of the aisles at Zeb's Country Store in North Conway; she was loving it!

And, braving the really cold air from a pretty brisk breeze, she ventured out into the hotel's outside pool and hot tub. Despite the blazing fire pit on the other side of the pool, I just stayed inside.

It was so pretty driving around the area Thursday before heading back home.

This building caught Sue's eye when we came out of the Ye Olde Sale Shoppe in the small hamlet of Taylor City but actually nestled within the town of Effingham, NH. The Ye Olde Sale Shoppe is one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're traveling on Rt. 153.
