Finally: Saturday 05/07/22 was a great day to anticipate warmer weather by getting the yard and porch ready for Summer! And, after successfully completing all of that, Sue and I drove over to Holis NH on a lavender Hunt!
We kicked things off Friday night by fixing home made pizza in celebration of my largest currency trade profit.
Saturday's first order of business was getting the Adirondack chairs set out on the hill by the screen house.
Next up after moving the wood storage rack from the porch out to the barn was to get the furniture set up out there.
Sue took this picture of the side of the house with Spring finally springing!
Sue had heard about a lavender farm in Hollis, NH where they were having a special sale out of their shop in the old Pine Hill School building. Had to go even though it was almost an hour and a half away! Road Trip!
On the way back home, Sue did one of her "Stop the vehicle! Photo Op!" So, I brought the car to a screeching halt along the side of road so she could investigate.
Great shots of this old rusted railroad crossing bridge.
And — of course — right in the middle of the movie of the night, Sue jumps up, and off she and Beau charge out the door for the car. I opted out, but they drove up to the top of the ridge to get some of the most spectacular sunset pictures yet.
She got this one just seconds before the sun dropped below the mountains.
