Our friend Gail came for an overnight visit Wednesday 01/26/22.

It had been awhile since she's been able to have dinner with us and stay over, and we all had a great time.

We went through the bottle of Josh Sauvignon Blanc that I had bought for the occasion, and so I popped open one of the last of the bottles we have of Welmoed Chenin Blanc - an inexpensive, but nice tasting wine from South Africa.

Dinner was a sort of on the fly chicken piccata with a side of herb infused sweet peas. Mah-vo-loose

We had a relaxing after dinner movie with the wood stove warming us up.

The wine is poured, and I'm ready to get the dinner process going with a little Walter Trout playing in the background.
