Despite the cold weather, we had a relaxing New Years Day inside just enjoying the warmth of the fire going in the wood stove.

For dinner, we fixed braised local short ribs in a wine, beef broth, tarragon, and parsley sauce over herbed egg noodles, and a side of peas.

After getting back from Marissa's New Year's Eve, I stayed up to watch my favorite movie: the great 1985 'Wall Street'.

New Years Day was foggy and cold.

You just have to watch at least part of The Rose Parade!
