07/23/21 Cars To Louden For Underside Oil

Friday 07/23/21 Sue and I drove our cars to Louden, NH for underside oil preventative work.

While each car was being worked on, we took the other car and went exploring around the area.

Putting Sue's car into the bay first, we drove mine over some stunningly beautiful back roads to the Pleasant View Gardens which is a major wholesale plant nursery. But they have display gardens that you can walk through that are spectacularly beautiful.

We spent quite a bit of time there, though wondered if we'd get hit with the ominous black clouds that darkened the skies to the north east of us. We had heard that the Lakes Region had severe thunderstorm and hail warnings posted during the time we were walking through the gardens. We wondered if they would impact where we lived and scare the shit out of the poor Beau Dog.... The skies were really looking tough.

After swapping cars back at the shop, Sue wanted to drive over to her friend Linda's house not far away. Linda has several huge day lily gardens planted from which she sells to the general public, but more as a passion than commercial operation. That's actually how Sue met Linda was by discovering her gardens. In fact, Linda had been up to the house to see Sue's flower gardens and to have lunch together.

We got hit with a few sprinkles on the drive back home, but nothing bad. In fact, it didn't look like it had even sprinkled much around where we live when we got back home.

Sue had me park in several places before finally getting this shot of an old farmhouse.
