05/06/21 Spring Yard Clean Up

It had been a pretty brutal winter with lots of branches broken and down. Nick from A Sharper Image Landscape came over Thursday 05/06/21 for a spring yard clean up.

Sue had also wanted a rather crusty, and weather/time beaten bush by the driveway removed. It didn't take Nick long to rip that out, trim some of the broken branches off of a couple of the birch trees, cut up the brush, and stuff all of that and several huge piles of brush and leaves into his truck.

Next job will be the first grass mowing of the season as its been sprouting pretty good due to all of the rain we've had. And, unfortunately, have to have one of the birches cut down because it just got hit so badly during the winter. Nick won't have the time for awhile to take it down, so until then the broken branches have to be cut off.

Sue took this great shot through the trees of the newly mowed grass down to the house.

An interesting view Sue took through her car's side mirror of the rhododendrons along the side of the house.

And you just won't believe that I'm actually cooking small pieces of leftover chicken for The Beau Dog.... Sue takes good care of The Beau Dog, and you can bet that he's sitting next to me with ears up waiting. But he'll have to wait until I at least have another sip of my Welmoed Chenin Blanc.
