Sue and I went snowshoeing on a stormy Sunday out through the woods behind the house with Beau leaping through the drifts.

After we got back in and loaded more wood into the wood stove, we had some time to relax with a little backgammon.

For dinner, I fixed another spectacular Marcella Hazan recipe: Chicken Cacciatore With Plumb Tomatoes. I served that over a bed or oregano steamed brown rice with a nice bottle of Woodbridge Chardonnay.

Movie of the night is the really pleasant Eat, Pray, Love while the snow continued to fall outside with another storm forecast for Tuesday. And THIS is New England!

Heading out to snowshoe just after 1:00 pm. It was not only heavily overcast as we made our way into the woods, but snowing as well. Oh, and it was really cold out!

Ending off our adventure just before 4:00 pm and into the house to get warmed up by the wood stove.
