12/23/20 Christmas Light Drive

Wednesday evening 12/23/20 Sue and I stuffed Beau into the car to go on a Christmas Light Drive over to the Gilmington, NH area.

In the past, the decorated houses were really nice to see. However, so very few this year had outdoor light displays.

We enjoyed the drive, however, and were back home after an hour and a half or so to enjoy a nice warm fire in the wood stove.

Taking Beau for a morning walk through the woods behind the house. The snow was really deep, and tough going in just my boots. Should have put snowshoes on!

One of the few outside decorations we saw in our drive. Only had a short time to pause on a small, narrow side road so Sue could hang out the window to catch this picture.

On the way home, we drove past Loon Lake and saw the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter which only happens about once every 800 years and is called the Christmas Star. Very overcast out, but Sue saw it, and had me pull over so she could grab this picture.
