After a nice relaxing, but hot, Sunday 08/09/20, Sue and I had a Wonderful Sunday Dinner Party For 2.
Most of my day was taken up editing a new video for my YouTube channel for Longwood Currency Trading.
Sue washing off some blackberries that she had picked off of the front bushes earlier.
Picture Chuck had sent me several days ago of his wine find of the day: a 2017, 1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel. Of course I was intrigued....
So, a special hop to the liquor store resulted in getting a couple of bottles to try. Though just a little sharp out of the bottle, it had smoothed out quite nicely after a short time, which is a great sign for such a reasonably priced wine.
For dinner, I did an off the cuff seasoned chicken sausage, and Black Trumpet mushrooms in a sauce of herbs and spicy doctored up can of Progresso Cream of Mushroom soup mixed with noodles cooked in a pot of fresh garden parsley infused water.
Here's a shot of the sky above the back tree line around 10:00 pm. Can't see much, can you? Yeah, it gets pretty dark up here on the mountain. And when it's not quite so overcast, the stars are something else....
