Late Sunday morning, after I climbed out of bed from kayaking yesterday, Sue and I took a leisurely drive over to Northfield, NH. It was such a lovely day for just getting out we couldn't resist it.
On the way back we stopped for gas, and then grabbed Chicken McNuggets at a McDonald's in Tilton, NH for lunch.
We stopped at a nice farmers market just outside of Gilmington on our way home. We met some nice folks, and picked up some fresh Swiss Chard at one of the stands.
We got home around 2:00 pm expecting it to be cloudy as scattered thunder showers were predicted for late afternoon. But the sky was bright blue with gorgeous cloud formations.
Sue had to be out in it all, so while she dug around in the dirt, I went inside to finish editing a currency trading video that I wanted to get posted Monday.
The rain never came, and we had a lovely dinner of creamy basil chicken out on the screen porch after playing several sets of backgammon.
Though it cleared off by morning, I got up during the night around 2:00 am and the fog was so thick that when I switched on the outside light I couldn't even see the barn. That was some heavy, wet fog.

Sue's flowers are blooming away like crazy!
Brilliantly up close....
And her vegetable gardens are really starting to flourish.
