Thursday 12/12/19 Sue and I headed off to visit her Aunt Carol and Brother Alan in Ossipee, NH. On the way home, we stopped in Wolfeboro, NH so Sue could take some Holiday pictures.

We hadn't been up to see either of them since Thanksgiving, and with her son Lucas coming in from L.A. the 16th for a couple of weeks we probably wouldn't have a chance to get up there for awhile. Sue called Alan on the way up to see if he'd like to join us for lunch at Carol's. He said he'd pick up lunch for us, but Sue told him Carol was all set as we were stopping to get a small lobster for her lunch.
Carol was so excited when we got there because we had brought Beau with us. Actually, I think she enjoys Beau more than us sometimes! Of course, as soon as we got there she whipped out the box of doggie treats and started feeding them almost non stop to him.
Beau eagerly waiting to get the next treat from Carol.
The visiting care giver, Melissa, was there when we arrived, and explained Carol's new stuffed toy that the she had requested from the organization for Carol. Carol had named it Molly, and Molly was quite distracting for Beau because all you had to do was touch it and it started to bark, and move its head. Beau was unsure about Molly, and kept one eye on it and the other on Carol for the next treat.
Alan arrived shortly after we got there, and we all had a nice lunch and chatted for well over an hour. From Carol's Sue and I followed Alan to his house for a visit just with him. I was stuffed from my way too big steak, onion, pepper, and cheese sub, and so I just sort of parked it in a heap in one of the chairs. I guess Beau was full as well, as he plopped down on the floor, and was pretty good while we were there.
Alan's grand daughter Kattie wasn't able to come over the other day to help Alan decorate his Christmas tree, and so Sue and I grabbed up the light strings and helped him with that.

We left Alan's around 5:00 pm as Sue had wanted to wait until it was dark in Wolfeboro. She thought it would be fun to stop and take pictures of the decorations around town in the dark.

Terrific window display at one of the shops along Main Street.
Surprisingly, town decorations were fairly sparse, and no where near as extensive as we would have thought that a town like Wolfeboro would host. We just got back in the car and headed for home.
As we came out of Wolfeboro we saw the spectacular full moon hanging just over the tree line. Sue said that he just had to get a picture of it. But no where along the end of South Main could we get a good glimpse of it through the trees. She suggest that we pull off of Route 28 onto Roberts Cove Road as there might be a better angle to see it there.
Though a pretty road, it just didn't give any view in the direction we needed it to, so we pulled back onto Route 28 to see if we could find another spot. But the closer to Alton that we got, we saw that the best location for such a shot would be almost back to our house!

It had been a long day, and we just tumbled into bed shortly after getting home from all of our adventures.
