So, today, Tuesday the 27th, I'm 17 days into this pneumonia struggle and still had to take a nap mid day. Still not feeling well, I stayed home while Sue had a "girls day at the lake" with Mia. She snatched her up around noon, and they drove up to Ossipee to her brother's family camp on the lake.
Mia had climbed into her seat and was all set to head out when Sue picked her up at Marissa's.
Yesterday started out pretty good, and I was hoping I'd make it fine through the day. Of particular concern was I had to drive my car over to Loudon, NH to have it oil undercoated for the upcoming winter. That went fine, but by mid afternoon I really went downhill, and had to go up to bed for an hour. I got up and we had dinner, and I felt much, much better, but still wobbly.
When I got up around 9:00 am I was feeling really weak, so stayed in slow motion all morning. Sue headed off to pick Mia up, and I ambled out onto the screen porch with my book in one hand, and a coffee in the other. I had several glasses of water with breakfast to stay hydrated, and the sun felt good. But by mid afternoon again, I had to go in and lie down. But I felt so much better when I got up. Nice.
Sue swung by with Mia on the way to take her home, and scooped me up. After we dropped Mia off, we stopped for nice dinner at The Granite Steak and Grille on Route 11. I was feeling pretty good when we got home, and so we stayed up until 10:00 pm watching the 2013 movie Lone Survivor.
Wednesday started off pretty good. I even climbed out of bed at 7:00 am. Sue fixed fried eggs that we had some of the zucchini bread she had made earlier in the week. While she went off to meet up with Cathy and walk Beau, I parked myself out on the porch and continued my reading on the current book I have been interested in. But, by 9:30, I had to lie down for an hour. And then, I had to lie down again around 3:00 pm for another hour. This crap sucks....
